EV Net – Small & Powerful

EV Net EV7 Is A Truly Special Charging Station. The Compact Size Of The Charging Device Makes It An Easy And Convenient Solution For Charging Electric Vehicles And Plug-In Hybrids In Both Home And Public Settings. Due To Its Versatile Options And Enhanced Functionality, This Charging Station Is Preferred Option For Both Residential & Commercial Use.

Much more than Typical Charging Station

Adding electric energy to the vehicle’s battery is the main task of any station. However, with the development of software, more and more convenient extras are being added to chargers, facilitating daily charging and proper monitoring of all processes.

The EV7 is precisely such a device – modern. Thanks to the built-in internet connectivity features (3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet), the station allows remote control and real-time monitoring from the comfort of the EV Net mobile application. Internet connectivity also enables remote updates to improve the device’s functionality and online diagnostics in case of issues or malfunctions. The station itself has its own web interface for configuration, monitoring, and diagnostics.

Through support for the OCPP 1.6 protocol, the station can be connected to any platform that operates with the same protocol. This is particularly important when using the station for public use.

Intelligent Charging Configuration

The internet connectivity features of the stationary station allow for intelligent configuration of your charging sessions, enabling processes to be set to operate during hours when electricity is at a lower cost/tariff.

From the comfort of your smartphone and through the EV Net mobile app, you can set the minimum and maximum amount of electric energy you wish to charge, the hourly range in which you would like the charger to operate, as well as to create completely custom daily schedule.

Through the mobile app, the EV charging station will execute your specified requirements, ensuring maximum efficiency for each charging session with the EV7 station.

Charging Speed Selection

The charging rate can also be controlled. The single-phase charging station can charge at an amperage of your choice, up to 32A – 7.4 kW. Considering the widespread use of single-phase on-board chargers in today’s market electric vehicles, the EV7 stands out as one of the best-optimized chargers in terms of functionality and charging capabilities.

Thanks to its compact size, the station can also be used as a mobile charger, and the option to select the charging power allows adjustment based on the optimal characteristics of the power source.

When installed in a public location where other intelligent stations are present, the EV Net EV7 can monitor the instantaneous consumption and adjust the charging powers of all devices to prevent overloading the network, ensuring that the process is not interrupted. This function is known as Dynamic Load Management.

Electric Vehicle 3.7 kW AV Net – 7.4kW
HYUNDAI IONIQ ELECTRIC (28 kWh) 7.5 hours 4 hours
PEUGEOT E-208 (47.5 kWh) 13 hours 6.5 hours
BMW I3 (42.2 kWh) 11 hours 5.5 hours
SKODA ENYAQ IV (52 kWh) 14 hours 7 hours

Real-time Charging Monitoring

A convenient feature of the EV Net mobile application, in combination with the charging station, is the ability to remotely monitor charging in real-time. This way, you can see the instantaneous power, modify pre-set parameters, or stop the charging if necessary.

Charging History

Every charging session initiated through the application is recorded and stored in your charging history. From this section, you can display statistics for a specific period and analyse the electricity consumption used for your vehicle from your home.

RFID and Plug & Charge

If you are using the charging station at a public location, you can enable an option to initiate charging through an RFID card. This way, anyone with a specially programmed card for your station will have access to it.

When used in home settings or if the station is installed at a location where only you have access, the device can be set to the so-called “Plug & Charge” mode – you simply connect the cable, and the charging begins.

LED Indicator

The round coloured LED indicator provides information on the charging status. Through it, you can determine if the station is ready for use, performing a successful charge, or encountering an issue that should prevent usage.

Protections and Safety

Some stationary charging stations require the installation of additional devices to ensure the safe flow of charging, which can increase the project cost. With the EV Net EV7, such additional protections are not necessary. The station comes equipped with built-in residual current protection, which takes care of issues as they arise.

CTClamp – Intelligent Power Distribution to Avoid Network Overload

The CTClamp feature from EV Net allows the simultaneous operation of household appliances and the EV Net EV7 charging station without overloading the network.

How does it work?

By installing a sensor in the central panel, the EV Net EV7 charging station receives real-time data on the household’s/object’s current consumption. For example, if the limit for a given network is 30 kW, and at a specific moment, other consumers are using 27 kW of electrical energy, the charging station will receive this information and adapt the charging accordingly based on the available energy. If the consumption decreases to 20 kW, the station will resume charging your electric vehicle at the maximum 7.4 kW.

This way, it is impossible for the network to be overloaded due to the charging of the electric vehicle.

Warranty & Technical Support

For your peace of mind, we provide a 36 months warranty for this model, along with enhanced warranty conditions in case of any issues. Through various internet connectivity options for the station, our team can remotely diagnose and quickly find a solution in case of a malfunction. With every new software update featuring new functionalities or fixes, the version will be updated remotely (OTA Over the Air).

In the event of a technical problem or defect requiring the station to be repaired in our service centre, the customer will receive a replacement station for the repair period.

Thanks to our extensive experience in installing charging stations, the design of the station’s casing facilitates easy installation. All electronics are located in the front part of the station, while the mechanical installation (attachment to the wall or stand) is carried out on the back cover, which is empty and allows for the free routing of cables. After completing the wiring and securing it to the wall, the front cover with the electronics is finally mounted. This way, the installation of the station can be completed in a very short time, and we have eliminated most possibilities of damaging the station during installation.
